problematic parent = problematic kid

In the library

A child kept calling for his mum for few times and i believe out of frustration she screamed at him - telling him to go to hell and went back reading her magazines. The child just wanted to ask for her permission whether can he go out of the library to get a packet of milo for himself as he is thirsty. I witnessed the incident and i believe you guys right now reading this must be thinking how can a mum say such a thing to a child?

I'm not judging the parent but i'm seriously really angry and really pity the boy The moment i heard this it felt like a knife being stab right onto me. It is so painful but i guess the child must be feeling really terrible inside. Though i don't know him, i wish i can get something that he likes...well...

Will you comfort him?
