In me, the importance

"But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night"
Psalms 1:2a

My QT right now will be going in depth in the book of psalms and it brought me to this verse that we are so simliar with, i came to know this verse when i was 13 years old and it speaks to me again and again:

"do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
Josh: 1:8

What does it really means by mediatating the word? Is it spending time reading and reflecting on what we've read, asking ourselves how should we be living our lives? Some of us may want to serve Him with the passion we have (missions, dance, counselling, music,watever!) but many atimes we got so caught up with the raging passion that it seems "overpowering" us so much that it became a distraction in our lives and forgetting the fundamentals which is the word. How can we say we love Him, when we didn't read His word. How can we say we want to do great things for Him but don't read His word.......

anyway i'm not trying to be holy here LOL~ don't be so serious => but it's the fact...maybe it's a good time to reflect again, good night! :))
