Artist - Melancholy

We tend to use the word 'mel' to describe how we feel but do we really know the actual meaning of the word melancholy?

Here's the definition - i searched online k? (:

1. a gloomy state of mind, esp. when habitual or prolonged; depression.
2. sober thoughtfulness; pensiveness.
3.affected with, characterized by, or showing melancholy; mournful; depressed: a melancholy mood.

Eg: There's is melancholy in the wind and sorrow in the grass (Charles Kuralt)

I asked someone this question before: "do artist tend to more emotional compared to the rest"? She replied "yes".

I played my taylor that was given to me last year as my birthday present, many memories flashed pass, the days when i was playing for the youth. There were many silent tears i've shed before going to bed. It was a bitter and sweet kind of thing.

Well... it will always remain as memories. If one day God will to ask me, "my child, if i've to erase every single memory in you, what is the one thing you want to keep?"... i'll reply "please don't erase the days when i was serving You as a guitarist"........
